CNA /caregiver Pontotoc Oxford

About the role

A Caring Hand at Home LLC is currently seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's) with 5 years of dementia experience to join our team in Tupelo and Booneville, Mississippi.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Monitor clients' health and behavior, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Knowledge of evidence-based care-giving practices and techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy at all times.
• Caregiver with a compassionate and patient demeanor to provide comfort and support to those in need.
• Certification in CPR, First Aid, and CNA to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.

Benefits

• Competitive compensation of $12 - $15 per hour.
• Full time/part time job type with expected hours of 20-40 hrs. per week.
• Flexible schedule with 4, 8 to 12-hour shifts, day shifts, and night shifts available on a weekend rotation.
• Pay weekly.
