CNA/Caregiver

About the Role

We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregivers and CNAs to join our growing team in the Ventura and Oxnard areas. We are looking for a female Home Care Aide to provide one-on-one care in patients' homes, focusing on personalized and attentive support while building genuine relationships. Part-time positions are available Sunday through Saturday from 8 am to noon.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Support with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients
• Assist with personal hygiene care, transfers, or ambulating
• Change bed linens, do laundry, and clean the home
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
• Build relationships with clients through conversation or reading aloud to support mental health
• Engage patients in range-of-motion exercises or other activities
• Provide dementia care, including playing card games

Requirements

• Caregiving and/or CNA experience preferred
• Current CNA certification welcomed but not required for caregiver positions
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
• Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with California state regulations
• High School Diploma or GED
• Two to three years of prior professional experience
• Current TB test
• Live Scan and registration with the California Home Care Registry (HCA)

Schedule

Part-time, Sunday through Saturday from 8 am to noon. On-call positions are also available.
