The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the care plan of each resident based on established nursing care procedures and at the direction of a supervisor. The CNA ensures residents' needs are maintained with the highest degree of dignity.

The primary responsibility is to provide each assigned resident with routine daily nursing care and services following current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care and assisted living facilities. You are entrusted to ensure the highest degree of quality care is provided to our residents at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous care and comfort for assigned residents
• Feed residents and account for their daily intake of food and liquids
• Assist residents with daily grooming and hygienic needs, including bathing, dressing, and using the toilet
• Help residents stand, walk, exercise, sit, and lie down
• Safely escort and/or transport residents to and from their rooms and other areas of the facility
• Fill out and maintain patient records
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training program
• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of previous work experience is desired
