About the Role
Our spacious 180-bed facility in beautiful Morrison, Colorado serves a diverse patient demographic, including dementia care, skilled rehabilitation, long-term, and hospice services. This allows you to find your passion as a caregiver within our community.
Pay
$25-$29 per hour, dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
- Support medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses, and disabilities.
- Assist patients with bathing, maintaining proper hygiene, feeding, and continence care when needed.
- Assess and monitor patients’ vital signs, notifying staff of any changes.
- Maintain a clean, homelike environment for residents.
- Perform all duties as assigned, following facility policies, nursing care procedures, and safety rules within the scope of practice of a certified nursing assistant.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice by Nurse Management or the NHA.
Requirements
- Must possess a license as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Colorado.
- Sincere desire to serve the elderly.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
- Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
Qualifications
- Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
- Willingness to handle residents based on their current maturity level.
- Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals.
