About the role

Senior Helpers of Spokane provides one-on-one personal care to help seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. We match caregivers with clients based on their area of expertise and experience.

Responsibilities

• Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships
• Participate in clients' favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for clients to enjoy
• Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living (ADL’s)
• Show toileting reminders
• Report what activities were completed with clients and provide updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

Qualifications

• Caregiver must have a compassionate and reliable attitude
• Passionate about helping others
• Enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
• Willing to help the community and make a difference in others’ lives

Requirements

• Ability to pass background checks
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Current car insurance
• HCA & CNA applicants encouraged

Pay

Pay Range: $20-$24 Depends on experience / certification / tenure
