About the role
The Lodge at Saginaw is a skilled nursing facility where associates provide essential services that impact patients, families, and the community. They aim to deliver top-tier healthcare and customer service through the dedication and expertise of their leaders and caregivers.Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with personal hygiene, medication administration, and meal preparation.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and transferring.
- Monitor residents' health conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss resident care plans and address any concerns.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.
Requirements
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year).
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
- Supportive and compassionate attitude.
- Take pride in providing high-quality care.
- Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to resident).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Texas.
- CPR certification (preferred).
- Reliable transportation.
