Responsibilities

• Put resident service first and ensure residents and their families receive the highest quality care
• Under the direction of a licensed nurse, deliver efficient and effective nursing care essential to caring for the personal needs and comfort of residents
• Assist residents with or perform Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
• Assist residents with ambulation and transfers
• Assist licensed nurse with treatments and procedures as needed
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information
• Promote a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant program
• Current CNA certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn

Skills

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment (preferred)
• Nursing Assistant experience providing direct care to multiple residents (preferred)
• Behavioral care / memory care experience (preferred)
