About the role

Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd (LHGS) is seeking Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate care to our residents. This role requires a dedication to ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities

- Provide hands-on assistance to residents in activities of daily living. - Help residents maintain hygiene and personal care routines. - Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing staff. - Assist with medication administration under supervision. - Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff. - Participate in regular training and education sessions.

Requirements

- North Dakota–licensed CNA (or willingness to obtain certification with our support). - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for evening and weekend shifts). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Benefits

- Competitive hourly wage starting at $20.36 and up to $24.81 based on experience. - Evening and weekend shift differentials. - Sign-On Incentives: $6,000 for Full-Time and $3,000 for Part-Time positions, paid quarterly over a 15-month contract. - Full benefits package for Full-Time and Part-Time permanent staff working 20+ hours per week, including: - Health, dental, and vision insurance. - Life and short-term disability insurance. - Reduced employee meals. - On-site childcare. - Discounted rent at Westview Apartments.

Schedule

- Available shifts include: - 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM - 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM - 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM - Includes every-other weekend and holiday rotation.

Pay

Hourly wage range: $20.36–$24.81 (DOE)

Qualifications

- Must be a North Dakota–licensed CNA (or willing to obtain certification with our support).
