About the role
We are currently searching for Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.) to join our friendly, caring, and supportive team. On-site, paid training opportunity is available for those not already certified. Flexible scheduling that is ideal for students or individuals seeking a career with advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure residents receive the high standard of care expected at Avantara Watertown by performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Observe changes in residents' condition and report any concerns to healthcare staff.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
- Provide assistance with personal hygiene and mobility needs.
- Document resident care activities accurately and timely.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement: Unencumbered State of South Dakota C.N.A. certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of South Dakota Accredited C.N.A. training course.
- Prior C.N.A. experience is preferable but not required. We are willing to invest in the right candidate!
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Passion for providing compassionate care.
