About the role

Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing, licensed nurses provide quality care to residents which are supportive and complementary to nursing practice in a high-acuity skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Perform tasks such as assisting with personal hygiene, medication administration, and meal preparation under the guidance of licensed nurses.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Document resident care in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current licensure in good standing as a CNA in the applicable community state.
• Compassion and desire to work with older adults.
• Physical ability to perform job: standing, walking, use of hand and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Pass criminal background check, meet health requirements, including TB test.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Pay

• $18.00 - $23.62 / hr DOE

Schedule

• FTE NOC (6p - 6a)
• PTE NOC (6p - 6a)
• PRN all shifts
