*Job Summary and Responsibilities* As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction. To be successful in this role, you will possess a dedicated spirit of service, strong communication skills, a meticulous approach to patient support, and an unwavering commitment to our mission of dignified, high-quality healthcare. *What you'll do...* Provides basic nursing care within scope of practice and according to age specific needs. -bathing, hygiene, feeding, elimination needs, and patient activities. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and the skills necessary to provide age appropriate care. Performs assigned nursing data collection and reports any irregularities to appropriate nursing personal in timely manner vital signs, weights, intake and output, and glucose readings. Participates in implementation of care plan according to individual patient needs; distributes water glasses, meal trays and snacks in a timely manner, collects urine, stool, and sputum specimens following correct procedure. Assists designated personnel with procedures, treatments or examinations as required. Uses equipment properly and safely, reports malfunctions appropriately scales-infant, standing, chair, wheelchair, bed scale, B/P recording devices with pulse oximeters, tympanic thermometers, Hoyer lift, gait belt, restraints, lead application for telemetry unit.
