About the role
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides daily resident care that is person-centered by customizing care as much as possible. The CNA takes into consideration each resident’s ability to make their own choices and having control over his/her daily lives. The CNA works under the direction of the LPN/RN and assists the nursing team in maintaining the nursing and resident units.
Responsibilities
- Bathing, feeding, and passing trays
- Making beds
- Assisting with ambulation
- Recording intake and output (I&O), weights, and vital signs
- Charting any care given to the resident
- Following instructions issued by the physician or licensed nurse according to established policies and procedures
Requirements
- Valid CNA License in the State of Indiana
- BLS/CPR Certification
Schedule
- 12 hours per week
- First Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Every other weekend
