CNA

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides daily resident care that is person-centered by customizing care as much as possible. The CNA takes into consideration each resident’s ability to make their own choices and having control over his/her daily lives. The CNA works under the direction of the LPN/RN and assists the nursing team in maintaining the nursing and resident units.

Responsibilities

• Bathing, feeding, and passing trays
• Making beds
• Assisting with ambulation
• Recording intake and output (I&O), weights, and vital signs
• Charting any care given to the resident
• Following instructions issued by the physician or licensed nurse according to established policies and procedures

Requirements

• Valid CNA License in the State of Indiana
• BLS/CPR Certification

Schedule

• 12 hours per week
• First Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend
