CNA - Arcadia Assisted Living (Up to $1,500 Sign On Bonus)

Responsibilities

• Nurtures residents, clients, and/or members, ensuring the delivery of top-notch care under supervision.
• Answers call lights to determine residents’ or clients’ needs.
• Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, eating, dressing, oral hygiene, and grooming.
• Assists with toileting and provides peri care for incontinent residents, clients, or members.
• Transports residents, clients, or members with ambulation to and from rooms and activities/meals.
• Takes and records vital signs, intake and output, transfers, and mood/behavior observations.
• Provides companion services according to care plans.
• Monitors and supervises residents, clients, and members as assigned.
• Records all chargeable time provided by Arcadia Family of Companies.
• Works in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team to ensure resident assessments are completed.
• Participates in continuous quality improvement and/or quality assurance programs.
• Interacts with residents, clients, and members in accordance with the organization's mission, core values, mindsets, and guideposts.
• Ensures residents’, clients’, and members’ rights and privacy are protected.
• Attends mandatory in-service programs.
• Complies with annual employee health screenings.
• Participates and assists during emergency drills and situations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current State of Hawaii Certified Nurse Aide certificate.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Proficiency in using computers and software applications.
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
