Schedule & Pay
- Full Time - 7am to 3:30pm: $20.00 - $25.50 per hour, $1,500 Sign-on Bonus
- Part Time 32 Hours per Week - 7am to 3:30pm: $500 Sign-on Bonus
- Full Time - 3pm to 11:30pm: $1,500 Sign-on Bonus
- Part Time 32 Hours per Week - 11pm to 7:30am: $500 Sign-on Bonus
- Every Other Weekend - 11pm to 7:30am
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Nursing, our Certified Nursing Assistants are the heart of our care team. You'll provide compassionate, hands-on support to residents with their daily living needs, ensure comfort and safety, and help create a respectful, dignified environment aligned with our Kosher standards of care. Responsibilities
- Provide total care and assist residents with all ADLs including bathing, grooming, dental care, toileting, dressing, and mobility support
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning using approved equipment: walkers, gait belts, wheelchairs, Hoyer lifts, lift sheets, etc.
- Ensure residents who are incontinent are kept clean, dry, and comfortable; change linens as needed
- Support resident safety and comfort by answering call lights promptly and responding immediately to needs
- Contribute to a clean, organized, welcoming resident environment — making beds, setting rooms in order, and encouraging independence and self-help
- Perform supervised clinical tasks including vital signs, intake/output, specimen collection, hot/cold compresses, and assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Monitor proper body alignment and perform/assist with ROM exercises to promote mobility and prevent pressure ulcers
- Provide meaningful personal support such as reading to residents, helping with letters, assisting with TV/radio use, and supporting in-room therapy activities
- Work as a trusted partner with nursing staff and other departments to maintain seamless, resident-centered care
- Uphold all safety standards, infection control procedures, and regulatory requirements (state, federal, OSHA, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Nursing Assistant training and current New Jersey Nurse Aide Registry certification in good standing
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
- Dependability — punctual, responsible, and consistently present when scheduled
- A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and resident dignity
- Willingness to meet all annual education/in-service requirements
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following HIPAA standards
- Ability to provide care within a Kosher environment and follow all dietary-related policies
- A genuine desire to help others and make a meaningful impact every day
