Job Description Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Acute Care Facility: Adventist Health Columbia Gorge Location: The Dalles, OR 97058 Contract: 13 Weeks Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Specialty: Acute Care / Med-Surg Job Summary Adventist Health Columbia Gorge is seeking an experienced CNA for a 13-week acute care contract assignment. Med-Surg experience is required. Requirements Current Oregon CNA licenseCurrent BLS certificationPrevious acute care/Med-Surg experience requiredStrong patient care and communication skills Key Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, hydration, elimination, positioning, and personal care.Obtain and document vital signs, including pulse and blood pressure.Provide patient support and report verbal/non-verbal observations and vital signs to the licensed nurse.Assist with restorative care and other patient-care needs within scope of practice.Perform clerical and organizational duties to support smooth unit operations.Route patient reports appropriately and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
