About the Role

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) specializing in Acute Care, providing direct patient support in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs, intake/output, and reporting abnormal findings.
  • Supporting nursing staff with patient care procedures and treatments.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.
  • Assisting with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning using proper techniques.
  • Providing emotional support to patients and families.
  • Documenting patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
  • Following infection control, safety, and facility policies.

Requirements

  • Current CNA certification in the applicable state.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Preferred experience in acute or hospital settings.
  • Knowledge of patient care standards, medical terminology, and hospital routines.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and observational skills.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dedicated to compassionate and respectful patient-centered care.
