CMT Technician
Responsibilities
- Perform field testing and inspection of construction materials such as concrete, soils, aggregate, and asphalt.
- Conduct sampling and testing according to ASTM, ACI, and project specifications.
- Document test results and prepare detailed daily field reports.
- Communicate findings with project managers, contractors, and clients.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Travel to local job sites throughout the area.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) or related field services.
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Certification (required, non-negotiable).
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Additional certifications such as NICET, NCDOT, ICC, or nuclear gauge certification.
- Experience working on commercial or transportation projects.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
