CMT/L1MA Assisted Living Evenings

About the Role

We are looking for a CMT- Certified Medical Technician to join our clinical team in maintaining a high level of resident care. This role offers a flexible schedule with competitive pay and is ideal for those seeking to make an impact in patient care close to home. We also accept a DHSS L1MA license with a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, personalized care to support seniors in their activities of daily living.
• Encourage residents to socialize and engage with each other to keep their spirits healthy.
• Create a safe environment where residents can thrive.
• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to residents and maintain related medical records under the supervision of the RN and/or LPN.
• Maintain medical records and written documentation ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and state regulations, certification standards, legal, and ethical standards.
• Transport assigned residents to and from appropriate dining areas. Feed or assist any resident as needed.
• Make frequent rounds and check on residents.
• Supervise nurse’s aides, ensuring they are assisting and caring for residents appropriately.
• Assist CNA staff with direct resident care when necessary.
• Follow-up to ensure correction of any problems found.

Requirements

• Must have a current Missouri (MO) CMT- Certified Med Tech Certification.
• DHSS L1MA license with a CNA is also accepted.
