Responsibilities

• Conduct deposit verification and/or change order preparation using specialized counting equipment and procedures.
• Separate currency, coin, and/or check deposits received from bank, ATM, and/or commercial customers, providing an accurate count by denomination.
• Prepare currency and/or coin change orders by denomination for each assigned customer.

Requirements

• Ability to read, count, add, subtract, write and record numbers.
• Ability to perform simple computer data entry.
• Ability to use a calculator by touch.

Working Conditions

• Full‑time schedule of 40 hours per week, performed in 8‑hour or split shifts.
• Work is performed in a room or work area within a vault with little or no exposure to outside light.
• Work is performed from a sitting position (on a stool with back support) or standing position (in front of a 3.5–4 foot high counter).

Physical Requirements / Job Qualifications

• 2 lb vertical lift from 36 in to 52 in (15 times).
• 25 lb vertical lift from 8 in to 33 in (1 time).
• 18 lb vertical lift from 1 in to 36 in (5 times).
• 2 lb vertical lift from 7 in to 62 in (17 times).
• 30 lb vertical lift from 8 in to 40 in and horizontally transfer 10 ft (1 time).
• Horizontally transfer 47 lb of force on a sled (single, non‑dominant arm) over 1 ft (1 time).
• Repetitive coupling: squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30 lb with both right and left hands (17 times each).

Pay

Hiring Rate: $17 USD per hour (hourly).

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week; shifts are 8 hours or split shifts.
