CMP/Wet Process/YE Process Engineering Supervisor
About the role
This position reports to the CWY PE Section Manager and is responsible for supervising the technician workforce in a manufacturing environment while maintaining CWY Process Ownership. Process ownership will be the primary function, utilizing more than 50% of your time. You will supervise process technicians who oversee production equipment processes and perform engineering tasks and projects as needed. Responsibilities include enabling technicians to properly disposition material, serving as the primary point of contact for escalations, and being accountable for the performance of the shift technician team to meet goals in production, quality, productivity, and cost.
As an Engineering Supervisor, you will also develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas and coordinate process technician training.
Responsibilities
- Supervise process technicians in a manufacturing environment.
- Maintain CWY Process Ownership, utilizing over 50% of your time on process-related tasks.
- Enable technicians to properly disposition material and serve as the primary point of contact for escalations.
- Ensure the performance of the shift technician team aligns with goals in production, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Perform engineering tasks and projects as necessary.
- Develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
- Coordinate training for process technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a fab environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control, and process release strategies.
- Proficiency with Python, Claude, or other AI models or tools.
- Experience with AMAT and EBARA CMP process tools.
- Experience with Single Wafer Clean Process Tools (LAM, TEL, DNS).
- Strong understanding of Cu and Al BEOL integrations.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
- Strong time management skills enabling on-time project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
