CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA)

About the role

The position is responsible for providing advisory services to Organizations Seeking Assessment/Certification (OSA’s & OSC’s) within the CMMC Ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the CMMC framework and will utilize this knowledge to facilitate comprehensive cybersecurity solutions for LRQA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Gap Analysis and CMMC advisory – primarily remotely, some travel required.
• Provide expert cybersecurity consulting to clients.
• Contribute to compliance research and technical analysis.
• Support our marketing team with your cybersecurity knowledge.
• Aid in developing and improving internal processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Active CMMC Certified Professional (CCP) and Certified Assessor (CCA) certifications.
• At least one active cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISM, CASP+, Security+, or CySA+.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• 1+ year of assessment/auditing experience.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and professional writing skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 25-35%.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NIST SP 800-171, DFARS 7012, NIST RMF, and other cybersecurity frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Tech experience in implementing security controls.
• Military or Federal cybersecurity background.
