- Pay Range: $30.00 - $38.00
Operates, maintains and programs Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), 3D Vision System, Single Axis Measuring device and various hand-tools
- Reads blueprints, GD&T symbology and apply principles to determine dimensions, tolerance specifications and proper setup for selected customer equipment.
- Able to setup and orientate customer items on various measuring equipment in order to utilize fewest setups as possible for an efficient inspection process.
- Repeats process to cover all sections of customer items
- Compares recorded measurements to blueprint dimensions and tolerances and notifies specified persons of discrepancies.
- Will perform these functions within a laboratory setting

- Cartesian coordinats
- Polar coordinates
- Part Set-ups
- Alignments (3-2-1)
- Datum
- Offset planes and lines
- Translating origins
- Blueprint Reading/Interpretation
- Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Education and Experience
- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
Physical Demands
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Sit occasionally
- Occasionally talk or hear
- Close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus

- Moderate noise level in the work environment
