Essential Functions
- Verify fixturing and program are available
- Load correct program
- Accurately place part in fixture, ensuring orientation
- Take initial probe hits on part as needed
- Use calibration sphere as needed
- Generate CMM reports
- Assess potential non-conforming results to root cause
- Replace broken probe tips as needed
- Provide technical support for operators using CMM and Vision System
- Perform CMM and Vision System PM logs
- Program Vision System as needed
- Perform inspection and visual checks as needed
- Conform to ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device industry requirements
- Other work-related tasks as assigned
Competencies
- Understanding of different methods for measurement
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and optical comparator
- Foundational knowledge of PC-DMIS Level 1
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of GD&T
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in Medical Device manufacturing preferred
