CMM Operator / Programmer

The CMM Operator/Programmer is responsible for quality operations in divisional areas to ensure production lines produce a product that meets customer quality and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create CMM Programs
• Ensure quality of product meets company’s standards
• Investigation and work corrective actions for product opportunities
• Document nonconformance reports
• Coordinate with production and quality leaders on a variety of quality issues
• Provide appropriate blueprint change request to engineering
• Ensure compliance of all divisional safety policies and procedures
• Perform capabilities studies
• Support PPAP dimensional requirements
• Understand capability studies.

Requirements

Advanced education preferred. CMM Programming. Basic knowledge of inventory and manufacturing software. GD+T knowledge and experience. Working knowledge of MS Office. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

Previous quality experience preferred. Quality assurance and auditing experience in a similar industry preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills preferred.

Skills

• Proficient in GD+T
• Proficient with inspection equipment including: Calipers, Tape Measure, Gages, Micrometers, height gages
• Ability to perform and evaluate results of various types of testing, document inspection and/or test results
