Duties
- Program and execute CNC programs on the CMM
- Read and interpret part prints and related specifications
- Perform complete layouts to complex prints and/or CAD data using a variety of measuring instruments
- Certify inspection fixtures to established procedures and be able to recommend corrective action
- Work with tool room personnel to dial in inspection and manufacturing fixtures
- Perform off-line programming early in program development when physical parts are not yet available
Job Requirements
- High School education or equivalent
- Prior inspection experience required
- Must possess the ability to program and run coordinate measuring machines
- Must be able to read and interpret part prints
- Must be able to manipulate CAD data for use in CMM programming
