About the role
The CMM Operator is responsible for operating Computerized Measuring Machines (CMMs) to inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CMMs to inspect and measure parts
- Ensure all measurements are accurate and within specifications
- Document findings and report any non-conformities
- Work closely with Quality Assurance team to resolve issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing inspection
- Proficiency with CMM software
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of CMM operation and inspection techniques
- Basic understanding of metrology principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
