CMM Operator, 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, math data, reports, instructions and guidelines
• Perform MSA and SPC (training provided)
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Use measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gages, and similar tools
• Operate Brown & Sharpe DCC Coordinate Measuring Machine
• Demonstrate understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction
• Work well with others and maintain positive employee relations
• Prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
• Operate personal computer in a MS Windows environment
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, suppliers and customers
• Safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
• Safely use slings and hoists
• Maintain punctuality and good attendance
• Maintain confidentiality and use discretion and tact
• Manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Work flexible hours and overtime
• Perform job responsibilities with minimal direct supervision, maintaining a can-do attitude

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 3+ years' experience operating a CMM machine
• Successful completion of AIAG MSA Certification Exam within one year from hire date; recertification required prior to expiration (e.g., every 3 years)
