CMF Color & Textile Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a CMF & Textile Engineer to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team. This role will help implement new and continuously improve existing textiles and finishes, better manage discontinuations and transitions, accelerate the 3-year product strategy, improve time-to-market on new product initiatives, enhance profitability, and elevate the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute color matching, part harmony, and PPAP approvals for all colorized materials.
• Execute all textile testing and identify technical textile requirements.
• Partner with Operations on characteristic classifications of HNI products.
• Drive Product Lifecycle Management processes.
• Integrate assigned process initiatives to ensure flawless execution.
• Analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop business cases to support conclusions.
• Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• At least one year of related experience required.
