About the role

The Sanford Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to join their dermatology practice in Bemidji, MN. This position offers a dynamic and rewarding work environment with a full-time, day shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Collects and reports patient health status data
• Communicates patient care instructions to patients or caregivers
• Performs point of care testing
• Coordinates provider schedules
• Manages daily scheduling adjustments
• Participates in various clinical duties as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program
• Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment

Qualifications

• Prior healthcare experience preferred
• North Dakota (ND) registration as an MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing (when applicable)
• Additional state requirements may apply

Pay

$20.24 - $28.68 per hour, plus a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for eligible applicants.

Schedule

Full time, day shift, Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends.
