Schedule

Full‑time positions are primarily day shifts, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Requirements

A high degree of digital and manual dexterity is required. The role involves constant standing, walking, frequent bending and stretching, occasional lifting of items up to 75 pounds, occasional pushing of items up to 200 pounds, and exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, and other clinic‑environment conditions (including laboratory work).

Qualifications

• Diploma from a Medical Assistant Program and current national certification/registration as a medical assistant.
• Or a valid LPN License and Diploma from an accredited LPN course.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency with required trainings through completion of three orientation checklists: MA/LPN job description checklist, phone triage checklist, electronic health record (EHR) documentation and competency checklist validated by an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse for administering medications.
• Perform routine telephone and walk‑in triage and forward information appropriately to provider/MA/nurse.
• Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, blood pressure, height, weight, BMI, pulse oximetry, pulse, chief complaint, and age‑appropriate screenings.
• Review, update, and reconcile patient allergies, medication list, problem list, reminders, family history, and surgical history.
• Perform/complete quality management as applicable per patient, including self‑management, goal setting, and follow‑up.
• Provide educational material for patients with chronic illness or in need of prevention education.
• Clean and stock nurse’s station, lab, patient bathrooms, equipment, and exam rooms daily, as well as other site areas as needed.
• Exam rooms are to be cleaned and disinfected between every patient daily.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and requested committees.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Perform all on‑site testing as ordered (or per standing orders) and document results into the EHR and bill, including UA, UPT, strep screen, hemoglobin, blood glucose, Hgb AIC, rapid mono, flu, hemoccult, and drug screens.
• Perform venipuncture (must be certified in phlebotomy), label tubes appropriately, and route all specimens to the correct lab according to payer source if needed.
• Perform EKG, oxygen administration, nebulizer administration, pulse oximetry, cryo procedure assistance, and tympanogram.
• Administer adult and childhood vaccines under the direction of the in‑house provider and/or per approved standing orders.
• Administer medications under the direction of the in‑house provider and/or per approved standing orders. Medications such as insulin and Rhogam must be administered by licensed personnel. Injectable medications requiring constitution or adjustment beyond
