Responsibilities
- Support AN/BYG-1 CM/ILS in tasks including developing ILS Certifications through data research and entry in NDE.
- Develop and integrate Engineering Change Documentation (ECD) with other groups to ensure data accuracy (BYG-1 Hardware, BYG-1 Systems Engineering, BYG-1 Installations, etc.).
- Support APL updates by tracking status and resolving questions with the Technical Support Agent and CM/ILS personnel.
- Attend BYG-1 CM/ILS group meetings, particularly the CM/ILS Team Meeting and Platform Installation Schedule/Media Delivery/ECI Status Meeting.
- Interfere positively with other activities (Program Sponsors, Naval Sea Logistics Center, NUWC Keyport, etc.) as needed.
- Maintain current and accurate CM/ILS/Installation data, including ECD status, task completions, and boat schedules.
- Complete other tasks as requested by team leads to support CM/ILS product completion, such as maintaining the CM/ILS area of the AN/BYG-1 Collaborative Environment, supporting CM documentation development and approval, and accessing required databases.
Qualifications
- Required Skills:
- Active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance
- Effective communication, both verbal and written
- Analytical ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and take recommended action
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Complete tasks in a timely manner to support upcoming installations and deadlines
- Maintain high attention to detail for data accuracy
- Familiarity with computer hardware and software; proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Navy DoD logistics
- Experience with MBPS, CDMD-OA, or other Navy CM databases
- Developing workfiles, submitting COP records to CDMs, and performing associated work within CDMD-OA
