Cluster Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cluster infrastructure for hardware engineering projects. Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and reliable cluster infrastructure solutions
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cluster infrastructure into applications
• Monitor and troubleshoot cluster performance issues
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Participate in regular team meetings and provide status updates

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cluster infrastructure engineering
• Experience with Linux systems administration
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration tools
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or similar
• Understanding of networking concepts and experience with network troubleshooting
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies

Skills

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience with security tools

• $80,000 - $100,000 annually
