Primary Responsibilities
- Work with members in gaining and/or enhancing skills for employment while completing tasks side by side with members at the Clubhouse
- Monitor, coach, and train members working in Transitional Employment Placements (TEP)
- Establish and maintain communication with employers for Transitional Employment Placements to build a professional relationship
- Learn and comply with the Clubhouse International standards
- Train, link, and access members interested in employment according to their strengths and abilities
- Responsible for completion of all documentation, including but not limited to treatment plans, functional assessment rating scales, progress notes, and more
- Engage members to work on meaningful work and activities at the Clubhouse
- Work with Vocational Rehabilitation and other employment services in the area on referrals for their services
- Develop and monitor Transitional Employment, Supported Employment, and Independent Employments placements
- Accurately document services provided to members in electronic health record system
- Track data and statistics unique to the employment of Clubhouse members using multiple tools, including Microsoft Excel

- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Entry level (no prior work related)
Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration
RequiredPreferred Qualifications
- Experience: Relevant experience working with clients with severe and persistent mental illness
- Capacity to work well with children and families
Performance Requirements
- Knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of current trends in community mental health, including health care reform and automation of job tasks using computer technology
- Skills: Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees, clients, organizations, and the public
- Communicate clearly and concisely
- Operate a personal computer, fax machine, printer, and copier proficiently

- Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
- Use of standard kitchen equipment (stove, coffee pot, microwave, etc.)

Mental/Physical Requirements
- Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Lift, carry, push, and pull: Up to 10 pounds (frequently), up to 20 pounds (occasionally), up to 50 pounds (seldom)
- Use hands and arms for reaching, handling, and manipulation, including reaching above shoulder level
- Have visual acuity and peripheral vision sufficient to read written materials and observe surroundings
- Have hearing sufficient to communicate effectively
