Club Sports Coach: Women's Ice Hockey - Assistant
Quinnipiac University's Club Women's Ice Hockey is seeking a part-time coach to support the head coach and student leadership. This role offers the opportunity to help develop a competitive program while focusing on coaching, safety, and academic attention for student-athletes.

Responsibilities
- Instruct club athletes in Women's Ice Hockey at practices and games
- Construct fair and balanced tryouts to select a team roster, if necessary
- Ensure compliance with Club Women's Ice Hockey and Title IX guidelines
- Maintain frequent dialogue with the Director of Recreation, Associate Director of Recreation, and/or Club Sport Graduate Assistant regarding travel, roster, and other team needs
- Attend all or most club practices, meetings, games, matches, and/or tournaments
- Participate in annual club sports coaches training with Recreation staff
- Cooperate with student leadership on additional events as needed
- Chaperone trips, including overnight stays, and enforce conduct policies
- Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by Women's Ice Hockey Club student leadership or constitution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Master's degree (preferred)
- Certification in Women's Ice Hockey
- CPR/First-Aid Certification
Qualifications
- Prior coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level
- Experience specifically with Club Sports
- Experience in Women's Ice Hockey and certification in Women's Ice Hockey
- Ability to travel and work nights and weekends
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds
This is a part-time, non-benefit-eligible position.
