About the Role

Directly oversee the execution and general operation of the Lexus Club & Casamigos Club along with execution of Catering Events according to the standards set forth by Aramark and PPG Paints Arena. The Club & Catering Manager focuses on maintaining and operational aspects of each club and catering area, including direction of staff and management of inventory. Reports directly to the Premium Services Manager and oversees Event Day Club Supervisor(s), Lexus Servers, Casamigos Attendants, Bartenders, and collaborates with other premium departments to ensure effective operations.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately maintain and report inventory in each Club using the Yellow Dog inventory system.
  • Determine and place orders for all dry goods needed throughout the Clubs.
  • Develop and implement strategies for maximizing revenue and profitability of Club operations.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Responsible for monthly sales forecasting.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and scheduling process for the department.
  • Manage staff to ensure full staffing and training in all operational aspects.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to food and alcohol service.
  • Train and operate POS systems for both clubs, troubleshoot as needed.
  • Oversee and verify set-up of all service areas in the Club.
  • Supervise staff working within the clubs and premium areas.
  • Maintain the inventory tracking system for each club and catering area.
  • Complete necessary inventory paperwork for each event.
  • Participate in all necessary departmental meetings.
  • Maintain inventory control and accountability of product.
  • Supervise and maintain cleanliness and organization of the clubs and catering areas.
  • Actively identify issues and correct potential concerns.
  • Respond to and assist with customer concerns, questions, or issues.
  • Oversee and verify accurate close-out of service locations, including staff checkout process.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recognition of event staff; participate in recognition or reward as needed.
  • Identify and communicate relevant or potential performance issues with the Premium Services Manager.
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned by the Premium Services Manager.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of Food & Beverage, Warehouse, or other relevant supervisory experience.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in Front of House food service operations.
  • Flexible availability including mornings, daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be available for all Penguins games, including non-hockey events.
  • Adherence to all established policies in the employee handbook and position performance requirements.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and stretch as needed for guest service, cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Superior skills in organization, detail orientation, and thoroughness of task completion.
  • Superior skills in customer service and personal interaction.
  • Basic math, reading, and computer knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis in Excel.
  • Knowledgeable in basic food safety and health department codes.

Qualifications

  • RAMP Certification (Responsible Alcohol Management Program).
  • Completion of all standard Aramark & PPG Paints Arena trainings, including Safety Topics (HACCP, ServSafe, Environmental Awareness, Safe S.T.E.P., Personal Hygiene & Health, etc.).
  • Experience with Customer Service Point of Sale systems such as Micros & Tapin2.
  • Experience with the YellowDog Inventory System.
