About the role
The Club America Field Representative plays a crucial role in launching and maintaining Turning Point USA student groups and activists across the Tucson area. This position involves organizing daily campus initiatives, recruiting new members, and representing the organization at various events.
Responsibilities
- Work with Turning Point USA student groups and activists to launch new chapters and maintain established ones.
- Import and organize recruitment-related data, conduct outreach to prospective members and activists, and give oral presentations.
- Represent TPUSA at events and conferences, promote these events on social media, and engage with the community through public speaking and networking.
- Manage the territory’s student activists and develop new activism plans.
- Collaborate with other field representatives to ensure the success of chapters, activists, and the Field Program overall.
Requirements
- Eagerness to build a strong personal brand.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with various groups of people.
- Knowledge of project management software (Google Apps, Airtable, HubSpot).
- Proficiency with social media platforms, such as X, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Passion for conservative ideals and principles.
- Flexibility and eagerness to learn in a dynamic work environment.
- A positive and goal-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and initiative.
- Reliability, punctuality, and responsiveness, demonstrating ethical and responsible behavior.
- Ability to receive and apply feedback constructively to improve performance.
- Effective reporting of updates and progress to leadership in a timely manner.
- Innovative nature and desire to try new things.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines without the need for constant supervision.
- Willingness to fulfill all duties listed and any additional duties assigned.
- Physical ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 15 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to locations as needed.
