Clow Valve - Maintenance Laborer

About the role

Clow's Metal Casting Facility has an opening for a Maintenance Laborer on 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming and shoveling excess sand in hard-to-reach areas.
• Assisting the maintenance department in various facets of the Metal Casting Facility.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Following Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Requirements

• Lifting and carrying of less than 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and twisting up to 90 times per hour.
• Standing and walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to move neck forward/back and turn right/left, kneel, squat, and climb using arms and legs.
• Repetitive use of both hands and fingers to grasp, flex, extend, exert force, wear gloves, and utilize tools.
• Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions, both inside and outside, including slippery, uneven, or unstable surfaces.
• Ability to work with hands in water, around machinery, at unprotected heights, with dust and fumes, and operate a crane, truck, forklift, and other moving vehicles.
• Ability to wear applicable PPE, including safety glasses, metatarsal-guarded boots, hearing protection, respirators, and welding masks.
• Ability to recognize and safely use all basic and portable power tools and hand tools.

Pay

Starting wage: $26.18 per hour with a 2nd shift differential of $0.90 per hour.

Schedule

2nd shift: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM.
