Cloud Technical Account Manager, WWPS Partners PS

About the role

AWS Enterprise Support Technical Account Managers (TAMs) support customers' innovative spirit of using AWS. They provide consultative architectural and operational guidance, helping customers achieve the greatest value from AWS. TAMs work with customers to plan and build solutions using best practices, ensuring their AWS environments are operationally healthy and resilient.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative architectural and operational guidance
• Support strategic business reviews, security improvement programs, and guided Well-Architected reviews
• Conduct workshops and offer proactive services
• Represent AWS within customer environments and engage with senior leadership on incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management
• Advocate for and guide customers in planning and building solutions using best practices
• Understand and address customers' business/operational needs and technical challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 4+ years of technical work experience
• 2+ years of technical engineering experience
• Experience in Information Technology operations
• Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead
• Experience with development in a distributed systems environment
• Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment
• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
• Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars and ability to apply them to existing or new customer architecture, implementations, and/or solutions
• Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more executive team member(s)
• Strong foundation in data modeling, database design, and architecting data solutions that support scalable, well-structured systems
• Experience applying technical or operational expertise to identify, balance trade-offs, and solve difficult challenges

Base salary range: $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually
