Cloud Solutions Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant on Turnberry's Cloud Solutions team, you'll be the hands-on architect behind our Cloud Migration and Modernization offering, which helps clients move and modernize their workloads so they get real value from their cloud investments while keeping costs under control. You'll design and build AWS environments, lead day-to-day technical delivery alongside client architects and engineering teams, and give our pre-sales team the technical input that makes our proposals credible. This is a delivery-first role for someone who still enjoys being in the console and the code, not just the diagrams. Responsibilities Design and build cloud solutions on AWS (Azure a plus) across migration, modernization, and greenfield projectsRun current-state assessments and help produce target-state designs and migration plansBuild core platform pieces hands-on: landing zones, account structure, networking, identity and access, compute and container setup, and resiliencyWrite and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and set up CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloadsLook at cost from day one, including tagging strategy, cost driver analysis, and right-sizing recommendationsAct as the day-to-day technical lead with client architects and engineering managers, explaining design choices and tradeoffs clearlyGuide onshore and offshore engineers on the engagement through code reviews, pairing, and unblocking technical issuesSupport pre-sales by contributing to solution designs, effort estimates, and proposal contentDocument architecture decisions and runbooks so clients can operate what we buildContribute to reusable reference architectures, assessment templates, and acceleratorsSupport Turnberry's AWS partner standing by earning and keeping current certifications and contributing to competency and MAP work Qualifications 6+ years in cloud engineering or architecture, with at least 3 years of hands-on AWS design and implementationExperience delivering at least one end-to-end cloud migration or modernization projectStrong grounding in AWS networking, security, IAM, and Well-Architected design principlesHands-on with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK) and CI/CD toolingWorking knowledge of containers (ECS, EKS, or similar) and serverless patternsFamiliarity with data and integration patterns on AWSConsulting or client-facing delivery experience, with comfort presenting your work to client technical teamsHealthcare or Life Sciences experience (HIPAA, GxP, regulated environments) is a plusAzure experience is a plusAWS Solutions Architect Associate required; Professional preferred, or willingness to earn it within the first yearWillingness to travel to client sites as engagements require The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $165,000 or the hourly equivalent.
