Do you thrive in fast-paced, mission-driven environments? Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support an enterprise service providing software security solutions for customer enclaves. As part of a collaborative engineering team, you will design, implement, test, and operate cloud-based software products by leveraging modern software development and system administration best practices. This environment utilizes a microservices architecture with containerized services. The engineering team collaborates closely with customers and cross-agency teams to deliver secure and resilient enterprise software capabilities. One of the following additional certifications is required: AWS Certified Developer - AssociateAWS DevOps Engineer - ProfessionalCertified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)Elastic Certified Engineer Candidates must provide proof of required certification during the initial screening process. Desired Qualifications: Pig scriptingUI development background with a focus in AngularJS Details Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
