Cloud Services Engineer

Responsibilities
- Prioritize issues of varying severity, and effectively manage the resolution or escalation of all issues efficiently within our ticketing system
- Focus on providing and documenting solutions and root cause analysis for medium complexity customer issues, using a customer-centered approach
- Install PTC Application Software and its supporting approved 3rd Party Software (for example Apache, tomcat, Intellicus, Kettle etc.)
- Resolves issues and makes decisions pertaining to the configuration of PTC Applications
- Facilitate communication between customers and internal teams to resolve issues
- Execution of documented upgrade procedures for PTC applications using PTC upgrade tools
- Execute build deployments according to providing instructions
Skills And Knowledge
- Installing/configuring Apache, Java, Tomcat
- Basic Oracle commands (select, insert, delete, join)
- Linux operating system
- ETL tools: Pentaho PDI: Installation, configuration, and use
- Troubleshooting skills
- Cloud computing technologies; AWS, Azure
Background
- 2+ years working in an IT Help Desk type environment
- Understanding of Cloud technology
- Basic command line Linux Skills
- Basic Oracle skills
- Basic troubleshooting skills
Qualifications
- Associates degree in a technical field (IT, CS, Programming, etc.) + 2 years of technical work experience
- Bachelors in a technical field (IT, CS, Programming, etc.)
- Must be a US Citizen
Pay & Benefits
- The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $85,000 - 100,000.
- Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
