Cloud Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure security of cloud environments across multiple providers
• Manage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools to detect and resolve security issues
• Review and optimize cloud configurations and architectures for security compliance
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security best practices and mitigate risks
• Secure cloud-hosted applications, platforms, and container orchestration environments
• Support cloud network security solutions, including SASE controls
• Monitor and respond to cloud security alerts and incidents
• Contribute to developing and maintaining cloud security policies and standards
• Assist with security assessments of AI and emerging cloud technologies
• Automate security workflows and enhance security visibility across cloud environments

Top Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience, with a focus on cloud security
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Strong understanding of cloud identity, networking, and security best practices
• Proven experience supporting application, container, or platform security in cloud environments
• Experience in security investigations and incident response activities
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-cloud environments
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and container platforms
• Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk
• Interest or experience in securing AI and emerging cloud technologies
