Cloud Security Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure security of cloud environments across multiple providers
- Manage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools to detect and resolve security issues
- Review and optimize cloud configurations and architectures for security compliance
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security best practices and mitigate risks
- Secure cloud-hosted applications, platforms, and container orchestration environments
- Support cloud network security solutions, including SASE controls
- Monitor and respond to cloud security alerts and incidents
- Contribute to developing and maintaining cloud security policies and standards
- Assist with security assessments of AI and emerging cloud technologies
- Automate security workflows and enhance security visibility across cloud environments
Top Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience, with a focus on cloud security
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Strong understanding of cloud identity, networking, and security best practices
- Proven experience supporting application, container, or platform security in cloud environments
- Experience in security investigations and incident response activities
- Excellent problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing multi-cloud environments
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and container platforms
- Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk
- Interest or experience in securing AI and emerging cloud technologies
