Cloud Platform Engineer with Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS

Responsibilities

• Building and scaling highly available cloud architecture while maintaining high-quality codebases
• Utilizing system monitoring and automated self-healing
• In-depth knowledge of Terraform, Python, shell scripting, and other automation tools
• Full stack application development experience, including CI/CD pipeline development, automated builds, testing, and Infrastructure as Code
• GitLab experience preferred
• Developing and maintaining infrastructure solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda, and serverless deployments
• Applying Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices in planning and organizing work
• Monitoring platform/application using tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, CloudWatch is preferred

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM
• Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies and best practices
• Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and automation tools like Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
