Cloud Platform Engineer

Position Overview

The Cloud Platform Engineer will be a key member of the Cloud Solutions Architecture team responsible for creating and automating cloud components to streamline hotel setup activities. They will contribute to designing reusable, scalable automation patterns across various functions using cloud infrastructure tools. The role involves supporting the Hilton Hybrid Cloud environment, ensuring compliance with security policies and operational standards. Additionally, they will develop detailed engineering documentation and utilize ServiceNow to enhance ITSM processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for supporting cloud infrastructure automation and ongoing environment improvements.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience supporting applications in a cloud environment
• Proficiency with AWS services such as EKS, ECR, IAM/IDC
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Ability to support hybrid cloud environments and participate in on-call rotations
• Strong documentation skills using Atlassian tools and experience with ServiceNow
