Cloud Media Services Intern

About the role

Tencent Cloud Media Service is a new international audio and video brand launched in 2022, offering a one-stop media solution with advanced technologies like AI-enhanced media processing and cloud real-time rendering.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the regional sales team to handle customer inquiries and provide technical support.
• Support the regional architecture team in analyzing customers' media technology needs and providing industry solutions.
• Communicate customer requirements and industry standards to the product development team.
• Participate in public presentations to showcase Tencent Cloud Media Service capabilities and insights.
• Collaborate with channel and marketing teams to support regional ecosystem partners.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, IT, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
• Relevant coursework, projects, or internships in cloud computing are beneficial.
• Familiarity with live streaming, video on demand, encoding/decoding, and network transmission in the audio and video field.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical decision-makers.
• Experience in related industries or working with public clouds is advantageous.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, IT, Cloud Computing, or a related field.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position in the listed locations is $27.12 to $51.93 per hour.
