Cloud Intern

About the role

This internship offers hands-on experience in managing and supporting enterprise-grade network infrastructure and systems administration tasks. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers to gain exposure to real-world challenges in a high-availability, mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Aid in configuring and maintaining network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls (Juniper, Fortinet).
• Participate in the deployment and documentation of network and system changes.
• Help manage private cloud infrastructure and Linux/Windows server environments.
• Contribute to automation efforts using scripting tools to streamline operational tasks.
• Document standard operating procedures and technical configurations.
• Ensure information security by preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Markley Group information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of 3 days per week in-office presence required.
