About the role
In-person interview in Albany, NY. Contract duration: 30 months.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud-based systems in GCP aligned with security, performance, availability, and cost-management requirements.
- Deploy cloud-native applications and optimize resources.
- Perform system monitoring, log analysis, incident diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
- Use GCP Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy.
- Implement, automate, and administer GCP cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Automate tasks with Python or PowerShell.
- Administer GKE clusters, pods, and services.
- Administer Linux and Windows servers.
- Configure and administer GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC/XPN, Cloud SQL, Redis, Secret Manager, CDN, load balancing, Cloud Armor, Logging, Monitoring, Alerting, and Pub/Sub.
Requirements
- 14+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
- 84 months of experience designing, developing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based systems in GCP.
- 84 months of experience implementing, automating, and administering GCP cloud infrastructure.
- 36 months of experience using CI/CD pipeline technologies.
- 36 months of experience using GitHub repository.
- 24 months of experience using Prisma Cloud and Tenable.
- Experience with OS patching and upgrading.
