Cloud Foundry & Azure VMware Solution (AVS) Consultant

About the role

Infinite Ranges is seeking a Cloud Foundry & Azure VMware Solution (AVS) Consultant to support a customer modernization initiative focused on migrating VMware infrastructure to Azure VMware Solution while establishing operational best practices for Cloud Foundry deployments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the migration of on-premises VMware clusters into Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
• Assess existing VMware environments and provide recommendations for migration readiness and best practices
• Support Cloud Foundry deployment, configuration, and operational alignment between on-premises and AVS environments
• Establish Cloud Foundry baseline architecture, operational processes, and deployment standards
• Create technical documentation, migration artifacts, and operational runbooks
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and training to customer teams
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders throughout the engagement
• Identify risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities across the migration and modernization effort

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Cloud Foundry administration, deployment, or platform operations
• Experience designing or executing Azure VMware Solution (AVS) migrations
• Strong understanding of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VMware infrastructure
• Experience migrating on-premises VMware environments to public cloud platforms
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and deliver effective knowledge transfer
• Strong consulting and customer-facing communication skills

• Technologies Used In This Role: Cloud Foundry, Azure VMware Solution (AVS), VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware vSphere, ESXi, ivCenter, Azure
• Bonus Points For: VMware Cloud Foundation certifications, Azure certifications, Cloud Foundry certifications or significant platform administration experience, Experience leading customer migration workshops or modernization initiatives, Prior consulting or professional services experience
