Cloud Engineer II
About the role
The Cloud Data Engineer II supports the design and delivery of scalable, governed data solutions that power enterprise analytics and business insights. This role involves building and optimizing data pipelines using Python, Java, and GCP technologies, as well as developing and enhancing user interfaces using React or modern UX frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for enterprise data platforms
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable data access and services
- Develop and enhance user interfaces using React or modern UX frameworks
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration using GCP tools
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows, APIs, and performance
Requirements
- Basic Qualifications: 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience, 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar, 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform), or distributed data systems, 2+ years of experience designing and working with RESTful APIs and React or modern UX frameworks
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GCP tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, or Cloud Function, Familiarity with API design, integration, and microservices architecture, Experience with SQL and enterprise data warehouse concepts, Exposure to data governance, metadata, and data quality framework, Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications
