Cloud Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Cloud Engineer for a 6-month contract to support the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and identity management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS cloud services and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams as needed. Experience with Amazon Connect is highly preferred; however, candidates with a solid AWS background who are eager to learn Amazon Connect are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Design and support enterprise cloud environments
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Collaborate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Manage and administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Implement and optimize cloud infrastructure
- Work with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its five pillars
- Manage AWS WorkSpaces, Virtual application environments, Hybrid Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Windows Hello for Business, Conditional Access, and MFA
- Manage Identity governance and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
- Provide excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
- Work in a hybrid environment, one day onsite in Lakewood, Colorado, and four days remote
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Mid-to-senior level experience designing and supporting enterprise cloud environments
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration and Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Working knowledge of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its five pillars
- Experience with: AWS WorkSpaces, Virtual application environments, Hybrid Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Windows Hello for Business, Conditional Access, and MFA
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
- AWS and/or Microsoft certifications are a plus
